We know how important your financial privacy is. That's why we've designed a process that ensures your original file and sensitive data never leave your computer. Here's exactly how it works:
Processing Happens Locally
You select your PDF, and your own browser does all the work. Your original file is never uploaded.
Data is Scrambled
Your browser creates a new, privacy-safe PDF by replacing all sensitive text (names, account numbers, transaction details, amounts) with random characters.
Structure is Preserved
The only thing we keep is the non-sensitive layout information (like table headers and column positions). This is the blueprint we need.
Only the Safe File is Sent
Only this new, scrambled, and anonymous PDF is uploaded for our developers to analyze.

Usage
When should I upload a statement?
You should upload your bank statement if you encounter a bug (e.g., incorrect parsing or missing data) with a supported bank, or if you want to request support for a bank that Boba BS doesn't currently support.
Security
How can I be sure my sensitive data is safe?
Your privacy is guaranteed by our Secure Local Processing. Your original PDF never leaves your computer. Only the scrambled, anonymized layout data is uploaded. We never see names, account numbers, or money figures.
Process
What happens after I upload?
Our development team uses the anonymized layout information to identify the cause of the bug or to map out the structure of a new bank format. This helps us improve our conversion engine for everyone.
